We believe that being green is not just a marketing fad, but a necessity for the health of our world. As a result, we are continually seeking ways to improve our efficiency and minimize our impact on the environment while at the same time offering affordable solutions. Some of the steps we have take are:
- We primarily choose to build with wood as it is a renewable resource.
- Wood fences that have been torn down are taken to be recycled into wood chips and other secondary market products.
- Nails, screws, chain link fencing, and other metal fence wastes are taken to a metal recycling facility or, if they can be used again in their current state, offered on Craig's List - a free community web resource that saves many products from needlessly being thrown away.

- Fences are built using the best quality materials and building practices in order to maximize the lifetime of the fence and minimize the carbon footprint that comes from having to repair a poorly made fence.
- Gas engine usage is kept at a minimum on the job site by utilizing electric tools whenever possible.
- Fences are cleaned using biodegradable chemicals and low-flow pressure washers.
- Office procedures are designed to minimize printing and paper usage by maximizing computer storage.
If you have any suggestion for other ways we can improve our processes and lower our carbon footprint, we would appreciate you letting us know!
